Heat-resistant cleanout for pollution control - allows access to the inside of the chimney liner.
Heat-resistant chimney liners are made of heat-resistant chromium-nickel steel sheets, grade 1.4828 according to DIN 17441, thickness 1.0 [mm]. They are mainly used to remove flue gases from wood-fired heating devices operating under negative pressure. Such chimneys are resistant to high temperatures that may arise in such a work environment. It is also possible to make a 1mm thick insert in 1.4404 sheet metal. This is justified when you need to connect a boiler for solid fuels with high efficiency, and thus - exhaust gas at a very low temperature. This sheet is not as heat resistant as grade 1.4828, but it is characterized by much greater resistance to acid in the condensate.
