Fireplace insert with panoramic glass, radius R-550 mm. Possibility to supply air to the combustion chamber from the outside. It has a built-in fresh air throttle to control the combustion process directly in the device and a connection point of 125 mm. The construction of the Kobok fireplace insert is made of steel, supplemented with a cast iron grate and painted with ecological paint. The combustion chamber is lined with 5 cm thick chamotte and has a cast iron grate and a spacious ash pan. The door is glazed with a special transparent ceramics resistant to 750 C with a very aesthetic finish from the inside made of stainless steel.
All Kobok fireplace inserts are painted with ecological Senotherm UHT HYDRO paint in black metallic. The paint is water-based (not solvent-based), so no unpleasant smell is emitted during the first lightings in the fireplace. Each Kobok fireplace insert is also sandblasted before painting. This ensures a perfectly smooth surface and facilitates the adhesion of paint to the fireplace walls.
Often, the competition in pursuit of a low price does not use such a solution. The result of savings is a very unpleasant smell (very pungent) and a poor-quality paint structure on the surface of the insert. The paint, especially in the lower part of the fireplace, may cure for up to several years depending on the intensity of burning. Then we will feel the unpleasant smell for much longer. Before buying, it is always worth asking the seller about it and seeing the quality of the product "live" and not only "computer-enhanced" photos.
Our products are covered by one of the longest guarantees on the market - 7 years for the body and 2 years for fireclay and grate. This makes them a great choice for heating your home for many years to come.
See the importance of our contribution to the competition. Sometimes our fireplaces are more than 60% heavier than others. It is the mass of the furnace that guarantees durability for years.
Comfort of use
The essence of a good fireplace insert is the ability to construct it in such a way that the wood and other gases will burn in the furnace automatically, and not be artificially damped with a damper before escaping into the chimney. This suppression of gas and exhaust gases through the damper causes faster soiling of the glass and unnatural combustion. The use of glass panels in this type of modern furnaces is pointless. However, if we have a problem with too much draft in the chimney, it is a very good idea to use a flue-gas heat exchanger. This lowers the vacuum in the furnace with a simultaneous increase in heat recovery from the flue gases.
When choosing a fireplace insert, it is worth comparing, apart from the standard parameters (power, efficiency, weight, etc.), additional indicators such as:

The fireplace meets the stringent certificates:
The nominal power of the insert depends on the amount of wood (fuel) burned in the furnace. 1 kg of dry wood is approx. 4 kW. So 3 kg of wood = 12 kW, 5 kg of wood = 20 kW.
