Electronic protection system WEU 06. It is designed to protect pumps against running without water, the so-called "Dry running", overload and lack of water flow in the system. The system works by continuously measuring the current consumed by the pump motor and comparing it with the preset "dry running" and "overload" current values. When the set values are exceeded, the countdown of the tripping time is approx. 3 seconds. If the disturbance is continuous, after the time has elapsed, the pump control system is disconnected. If the fault occurrence time is shorter than the tripping time, the timer is interrupted and the timer is reset to zero. In pumps with a power supply of 3x400 V, when there is no supply voltage in the measuring phase, the system reacts as in the case of dry running, and when there is no voltage in any of the other phases, the system reacts as in the case of an overload. The system is placed in a Modulbox housing, which is made of plastic and designed for rail mounting.
