Onduterm membrane can be used for insulation of: roof, wall, floor, ceiling. The main principle of operation of Onduterm thermal insulation films is the reflection of emitted thermal energy in the form of radiation from the screen, which is reflective thermal insulation. Onduterm consists of 2 outer layers: metallized and reinforced polyester films, and filling depending on the version - from several layers of polyester mat, metallised foil (12 microns each) and additional layers of polyethylene foam (applies to Onduterm 11SP and Onduterm 15SP varieties). It works on the principle of a mirror reflecting heat energy, its effectiveness is affected by the number of individual layers of the material and their thickness. Onduterm reflects up to 92% of heat radiation from its surface and is able to absorb only 1% of heat energy. Infrared radiation accounts for 90% of the total heat energy carrier in buildings in summer, and about 75% of total energy transfer in winter. The use of Onduterm thermal insulation allows you to achieve 30% savings when heating or cooling.
