TUFF-TAPE is used to connect plasterboard on flat surfaces (such as the ceiling or walls) in place of mesh, interlining, paper tape, paper tape with an aluminum insert, and for finishing a corner in the interior. The tape is perfect for masking cracks and scratches on ceilings and walls, as well as for repairing surfaces where the mesh or paper has been damaged. TUFF-TAPE, due to the lack of reaction with water, is used in places exposed to moisture, where the paper tape could be damaged (e.g. near bathtubs and showers).

Method of use

1. Cut the tape to the correct length and cut the end of the sockets at an angle of 45 degrees.
2. Apply gypsum mass (with the exception of gypsum in quick-drying e.g. gypsum plaster).
3. To stick the tape, apply gypsum paste and place the TUFF-TAPE tape at the destination.
4. In the case of an inside corner - fold the tape lengthwise (inscriptions inwards), then gently straighten it and glue it, pressing it to the inner corner. Adjust the tape so as to create a straight horn line on the crease.
5. Remove excess gypsum with a spatula, leaving no bubble in the air under the tape.
6. Cover the tape with a thin layer of gypsum, about 1 mm thick, aligning with the wall, let it dry.
7. For a corner in the interior - do not fill the corner with gypsum mass after installing the tape. This will keep the horny line straight.
8. If necessary, apply the gypsum mass again and let it dry.
9. Identify inequality with sandpaper, graded at least 180.
10. Sand the inside of the tape with the edge of the bent sandpaper.
11. When creating a flat surface from plasterboard in the place of their connection finished with the original phase, which connects to another wall at different angles, the tape used in the inner corner or outer corner should be put on the tape connecting the plates which form a flat surface.
12. When creating a flat surface of plasterboard that does not have a phase. At the point where they are connected to another wall at an angle, the tape connecting the plates constituting a flat surface should be put in contact with the tape used in the inner corner or outer corner. In both of the above cases, this will allow us to avoid corner curvature. *
